Craig Sucier has won the 4th meet in Georgia

Meet 4 winners left to right; Bryan Buechler 3rd $100, Craig Saucier 1st $250, Jairo Garcia 2nd, $150

Craig Saucier takes first place in the 4th meet of the season and moves up into the first spot overall. Bryan Buechler had been in first place for the previous two meets and had a very strong performance in this meet. Buechler was robbed of the win due to his first zone accuracy run where he just barely brushed the grass in "No man land" to get a zero for the run. Even with the zero he still ended up in third place for the meet and is in second place for the season after four meets. These two Gold Coast Skydivers have really shown there stuff this year with outstanding consistency and very strong flying.

The meet took place at the Farm in Georgia. 22 competitors along with the judges and photogs showed up despite the threat of some bad weather. These guys and girls are dedicated to the season. This was the first meet that had to be carried over into the weather day on Sunday to complete the meet. Three of the six rounds were completed on Saturday and the remaining three were done on Sunday. It was a unanimous decision to hold out and complete the meet even for the people who had traveled 6-8 hours to get here and would not arrive back home until late Sunday night and had to work early Monday morning.

Although Hans and Sandy and Ella have a natural swoop pond up at their beautiful DZ, The Farm, all competition runs were held over grass for this meet believe it or not for safety reasons. Due to wind direction, the low water level and some obstacles, all three courses were set up over grass as we do not have amateur competitions in down wind conditions.

We would like to thank Hans and Sandy and Ella for having us up to the Farm and being our host for this meet.

We would also like to thank Tyler Lawson and the ASC otter for helping us out with our demo loads.

Special thanks again to all the competitors who are coming out to these events and supporting the league and the sport of canopy piloting. It is such a pleasure to be involved with such a great group of people such as these guys and gals that are participating this year.

A very special thanks to Scott Roberts who came out and coached competitors for the day. Scott was on hand to offer tips throughout the day as competitors listened intently for any little tip that may help them. Scott has been competing as a Pro Swoop competitor for a number of years now and is a member of the Fastrax Swoop team. Check him and the Fastrax team out at

Thanks to all the judges Kim, Laticia, Michelle, Roy and Amy Saucier for judging this meet. A special thanks to Michelle and Amy who stuck it out until the very end. This meet went until late on Sunday and was just not possible for some competitors and judges to stay. Thanks to everyone involved.
